It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.

I'm back home after a lovely holiday in Scotland where I saw lots of sheep, tried haggis, visited a whiskey distillery and got the song Loch Lomond thoroughly stuck in my head. There was hardly any time for reading (but that is the sign of a good trip, right?)!

FINISHED LAST WEEK
Nothing! I was just too busy to read much!

CURRENTLY READING
I decided to take my Kindle with me to Scotland, so I left the poor half-read Curse of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz at home. In its place I started Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble by HP Mallory, but I soon realised there was no way I was going to finish it during the trip (no need to take 200 books with me...). I hope to finish both of these two this week.

WHAT'S NEXT
I had planned to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last night, but our little cinema was full long before I got there, so I had to turn around and go home again (I really wish they would sell tickets in advance!). I'm thinking I'll read Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton while waiting for another chance to see the movie.

Have you seen Pirates 4 yet? What did you think (no spoilers, please!)?

I haven't seen it yet, either. I'm thinking perhaps next week or the week after. I haven't missed one in theaters yet and I don't intend to miss this one either. LOL

Hope you have a great week!

I finished ten books this week which actually surprises me because I hardly did any reading during my usual fun reading time. Come see what I finished.

I rarely get any books finished when I go on a trip too, usually just too many things going on! Glad you had a lovely time in Scotland, I'm so jealous!

Please feel free to stop by my Monday :)

My Kindle is going on vacation with me. If I get books read, great; if not, that's ok too.

Confession - after watching the second Pirates film I couldn't bring myself to watch the third. I will probably be the only person in the UK who doesn't go and see it.

I'd love to go to Scotland again (I've been twice)! I'm in the Netherlands but it's still quite a long trip. It sounds like you had no rain? You didn't mention it so maybe you saw... the sun???

Have a good week!

Leeswammes - We had a bit of rain the first couple of days, but mostly it was just overcast. The day we left was actually quite sunny! We have the same type of weather here though, so I'm used to it. :) I would love to go back some day.

Jealous that you spent last week in Scotland. I would love to go there.

I have Fire Burn on my Kindle waiting to be read. I love the cover of that book.

Happy Reading!

I haven't seen the new Pirates movie yet, but I definitely plan to! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Pirate Latitudes - lots of people loved it, but I wasn't too impressed.
